(1 September 2026, Hong Kong) Templewater today announced the appointment of How Jit Lim as Managing Director and Head of Value Creation, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in portfolio performance, operational improvement and growth execution.
How Jit brings more than 25 years of portfolio management and value creation experience, having worked with leading private equity firms as an operating partner, portfolio CEO and general manager, and senior advisor. Prior to joining Templewater full-time, he served as Interim General Manager for The Women’s Clinic Group and Senior Advisor for KA Group, both Templewater portfolio companies.
Previously, How Jit was Managing Director at Creador, a Malaysia-based private equity firm. His executive track record includes creating enterprise value in mid-market CEO and general manager roles, including eight years as portfolio general manager for Kohlberg & Co., where he built a new China business from the ground up. He also served as Managing Director and Head of the China Performance Improvement Practice at Alvarez & Marsal, where he expanded the practice fivefold during the COVID period. Earlier in his career, How Jit held roles across new venture development at Grab, engineering, lean transformation and operations in the automotive and aerospace industries.
How Jit holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Northwestern Kellogg-HKUST. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese.
