(1 September 2026, Hong Kong) Templewater is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurent Fischler as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate.
Laurent brings over 25 years of real estate investment and asset management experience across Asia Pacific and globally. Prior to joining Templewater, Laurent was Head of Investments – Asia Pacific at Ivanhoé Cambridge (part of CDPQ, now La Caisse), where he spearheaded investment initiatives across the region, establishing over a dozen ventures, partnerships, and funds with a total investment capacity exceeding US$6 billion. A major highlight was student housing and multi-family residential, with successful ventures launched in Australia and Japan. Before that, Laurent worked for the Dalian Wanda Group, where he established the international real estate investment platform, shaping the group’s overseas investment vision, and managing a portfolio exceeding US$10 billion in gross development value.
Laurent holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning from the London School of Economics. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and French.
