(24 April 2026, Hong Kong) Templewater is pleased to announce that the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) has selected, Templewater, in principle, as one of the first batch of fund managers under the Innovation and Technology Venture Fund (ITVF) enhanced scheme. ITC announced nine fund managers in the inaugural cohort on 23 April 2026, following an open invitation that attracted applications from 65 parties.
The ITVF enhanced scheme represents a market-oriented approach designed to leverage private capital into Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem, with the Government participating as a limited partner on a matching basis. The scheme focuses on start-ups in three strategic industries: (1) AI and data science, (2) life and health technology, and (3) advanced manufacturing and new energy.
Templewater believes Hong Kong is well-positioned to accelerate the commercialization and internationalization of innovation across the scheme’s priority sectors.
